Meet Dr Penelope Law

Dr Penelope Law, The Countess of Bradford, has 20 years experience teaching and practicing Obstetrics and Gynaecology in central London.

She qualified both as a nurse and a doctor from The Royal London Hospital, and prior to that she studied Social Policy at Bedford College, University of London.

Dr Penelope Law has extensively studied the impact of obesity in pregnancy, and runs an NHS ante-natal obesity clinic in London. Her research into non-invasive techniques for uterine fibroids is recognised globally as the preferable alternative to surgery. She is a well known speaker on these areas of expertise.

She founded the ‘London Labour Ward Leads Group’ which is now a specialist society within the RCOG.

She was also a founding director of NightDoctor Ltd, until 2017 when it was merged with Doctor Call.

She is a mother of one, born whilst a medical student at The Royal London Hospital.
